#5. The Government creates a new law that allows the Treasury Department to seize the property and assets of any person who publicly disagrees with its foreign policy!

Just before leaving office President Bush signed two executive orders that would allow the US Treasury Department to seize the property of any person perceived to, directly or indirectly, pose a threat to US operations in the Middle East.

The first of these executive orders, titled “Blocking Property of Certain Persons Who Threaten Stabilization Efforts in Iraq,” signed by Bush on July 17, 2007, authorizes the Secretary of Treasury, in consultation with the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Defense, to confiscate the assets of US citizens and organizations who “directly or indirectly” pose a risk to US operations in Iraq. Bush’s order states:

"I have issued an Executive Order blocking property of persons determined 1) to have committed, or pose a significant risk of committing, an act or acts of violence that have the purpose or effect of threatening the peace or stability of Iraq or the Government of Iraq or undermining efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq . . . or 2) to have materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial, material, logistical, or technical support for, or goods or services in support of, such an act or acts of violence or any person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order . . ."

Section five of this order announces that, “because of the ability to transfer funds or other assets instantaneously, prior notice to such persons of measures to be taken pursuant to this order would render these measures ineffectual. I therefore determine . . . there need be no prior notice of listing or determination [of seizure] . . .”

On August 1, Bush issued a similar executive order, titled “Blocking Property of Persons Undermining the Sovereignty of Lebanon or Its Democratic Processes and Institutions.” While the text in this order is, for the most part, identical to the first, the order regarding Lebanon is more severe.

While both orders bypass the Constitutional right to due process of law in giving the Secretary of Treasury authority to seize properties of those persons posing a risk of violence, or in any vague way assisting opposition to US agenda, the August 1 order targets any person determined to have taken, or to pose a significant risk of taking, actions—violent or nonviolent—that undermine operations in Lebanon. The act further authorizes freezing the assets of “a spouse or dependent child” of any person whose property is frozen. The executive order on Lebanon also bans providing food, shelter, medicine, or any humanitarian aid to those whose assets have been seized—including the “dependent children” referred to above.

Vaguely written and dangerously open to broad interpretation, this unconstitutional order allows for the arbitrary targeting of any American for dispossession of all belongings and demands ostracism from society. Bruce Fein, a constitutional lawyer and former Justice Department official in the Reagan administration says of the order, “This is so sweeping it’s staggering. I have never seen anything so broad. It expands beyond terrorism, beyond seeking to use violence or the threat of violence to cower or intimidate a population.”

You may be getting SCAMMED by the Electric Company!

Many people have been testing the new meters and have found that the electric company has been doubling their usage on the meter when actually there was no increase from the previous usage.

If you go outside and look on the side of your home and your electric meter looks like this, then you may be getting Scammed by the electric company and below you will find a simple step by step method to find out just how much money those crooks have stolen from your family.

Are you ready to find out if you are being ripped off?

Here is how..

1. If you can’t kill the main breaker from outside at the meter then get someone in the house that can be ready to kill it while you watch the meter.

2. Wait for the meter to tick over to another kilowatt hour

3. Immediately kill the main breaker to the house… If you can’t do it with one breaker then shut off the entire panel manually as fast as you can..

4. Make sure all breakers are off and the meter outside is indeed at a full stop..

5. Find the breaker to a set of power outlets in your house and make sure nothing is plugged into it.. turn on the breaker and verify that the meter is still not running with nothing plugged into the outlets..

6. When you’ve got a clean isolated circuit to the breaker box plug in the heaviest load device you can find (make sure you can locate the wattage on it) A hair dryer works nicely (make sure it is on high and the heat is on)…

7. Make sure the device is switched off and then turn on the breaker to the isolated circuit..

8. Mark the time exactly and turn on the device

9. Watch the meter outside until it ticks ahead to another kilowatt hour

10. Mark the time again when the kilowatt changed over

You’ve now got all the info you need and can turn your power back on..

Now…

Take the watts from the device (look on it you will find it on every devise by law somewhere) , we will use 1,500 watts for this example and divide by 60.

This is going to give you the amount of watt hours your device is using per minute for this example 25(X).

A kilowatt hour (what your meter registers) is 1000 watt hours so we now need to divide 1000 by 25 to get the amount of time our device would have to run to use 1 kilowatt hour, in this case 40 minutes (T).

A 1000 watt device should take exactly 1 hour to use a kilowatt hour.

Easy enough…

So if you ran your 1500 watt hair dryer and it only took 20 minutes for your meter to register a kilowatt hour then you’re being charged double

If your meter is working correctly your 1500 watt device on an isolated circuit should take a full 40 minutes to register a kilowatt hour..

In my test my dryer was rated at 1875 watts but was pulling 1425 and it took 18 minutes to use 1 kw hour..

by the way on your smart meter instead of the little spinning wheel it has little dashes — that move across the screen.. you can tell it’s totally stopped when the dashes don’t move for a few minutes at all.

oh and your smart meter might be flashing between several display screens… Your kwh will probably be the only one with numbers on it… You’ll just have to wait as it cycles through to see when you get the next tick up
